Step 2: Wrap a soft measuring tape around your waist at the point where your pants sit, over the tucked shirt. This is typically just below your belly button, at or slightly above your hip bones.

Step 3: Read the measurement. If it is between 22 and 46 inches, the Shirt Tucker will fit. If it is between 20 and 22 inches, it may still work because the measurement over a shirt adds some bulk. If it is under 20 inches, contact us before ordering.

The reason the over-shirt measurement matters is that the belt sits on top of your tucked shirt, not directly on skin. A 21-inch bare waist becomes roughly 22 to 23 inches with a tucked shirt, which is within range.
